Bayview, California (December 22, 2020) – A 90-year-old woman was seriously injured early Sunday morning in a hit-and-run accident in San Francisco’s Bayview District, according to a local news source.

The crash happened at around 4:19 a.m. Sunday, December 20 at the intersection of Third Street and Evans Avenue.

Authorities said the woman was struck by a vehicle at the intersection for undetermined reasons.

The woman sustained major injuries and was transported to a local hospital. Her name and current condition were not disclosed.

The involved driver, only identified as a 58-year-old man, fled the scene after the accident, but later returned to the crash site and was arrested by police.
