Marquise Echols Fatal Oceanside Car Accident on I-5 near SR 76 Transition Tuesday Night
Oceanside, California (December 20, 2020) – Authorities have released the name of the Oceanside victim who died following a car accident Tuesday night in Oceanside.
The 9:50 p.m. fatal crash happened on the I-5 transition to SR 76 on December 15.
The accident happened when a vehicle transition from ISR-5 to SR-76 veered off the roadway before it overcorrected and overturned several times.
22-year-old Marquise L. Echols, who was riding in the vehicle as a passenger, was ejected from the car.

Echols died at 2:20 a.m., on December 16, at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla while undergoing treatment.
