Bakersfield, California (December 19, 2020) – A pedestrian was seriously injured after being struck by a car in Bakersfield on Friday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at Mount Vernon Avenue and Oregon Street at about 6:15 p.m. December 18.
A pedestrian was walking in the area and was struck by a car in unclear circumstances.
The pedestrian sustained major injuries in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
