Needles, California (December 16, 2020) – One person was hospitalized after being injured in a truck accident in Needles on Tuesday evening.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 5:12 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 40 Freeway near Water Road.
A big rig was traveling on the roadway when it lost control and crashed for unknown reasons.
The big reportedly caught fire after the collision.
The authorities who responded to the incident found an injured elderly person at the scene.
The victim was transported to Needles Hospital for treatment.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
