Eduardo Hernandez ID’d as Man Killed in Lakeside Pedestrian Accident on Woodson Road
Lakeside, California (December 16, 2020) – The man who died after being hit by a vehicle earlier this month in Lakeside has been identified as Eduardo Hernandez, 68, of Lakeside, according to a press release by the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The deadly accident happened at around 6:04 p.m. Saturday, December 4, in the 1200 block of Woodside Road.
As per the release, Hernandez was walking southbound across Woodson Avenue when he was struck by a vehicle that was heading eastbound on Woodson Avenue.
Hernandez was taken to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries at about 7:12 p.m.
No further details about the crash were immediately provided.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
