45-Year-Old Woman Killed in San Luis Obispo Pedestrian Accident on Highway 101 near Los Osos Valley Road
San Luis Obispo, California (December 8, 2020) – A 45-year-old transient woman was hit and killed by a vehicle on Wednesday morning in San Luis Obispo, authorities said.
The deadly pedestrian accident transpired at about 6:00 a.m., on December 2, on Highway 101, just north of Los Osos Valley Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the woman was struck by a Chevrolet pickup truck driven by Michael Zavala, 43, in the highway’s northbound lanes.

Sadly the female pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
Zavala was not injured in the accident.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
