Daniel Gonzalez ID’d as Man Killed in West Adams Accident on West Exposition Boulevard and Buckingham Road
West Adams, California (November 26, 2020) – Authorities have identified the man who died in a hit-and-run accident early Tuesday morning in the West Adams neighborhood of Los Angeles as Daniel Gonzalez, 39.
The deadly accident happened at about 4 a.m. Tuesday, November 24, in the 4000 block of West Exposition Boulevard and Buckingham Road.
According to the authorities, a Dodge Challenger was traveling on the roadway when it hit a pole before striking a second vehicle.
The impact of the crash caused the second vehicle to overturn.
Gonzalez was pronounced dead at the scene.
The man driving the Challenger did not stop to render aid and fled, heading southbound on Buckingham Road. It was unclear if the driver was injured in the crash.
A GoFundMe page has been established to help cover the cost of funeral expenses for Gonzalez.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
