San Ysidro, CA: Major Injury Multi-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 5
2 Injured, 1 Seriously in San Ysidro Crash on Interstate 5 near Highway 905
San Ysidro, California (November 25, 2020) – Two people were injured, one seriously, in a multi-vehicle accident on Wednesday afternoon in San Ysidro, authorities said.
The major injury accident transpired at about 4:20 p.m. on southbound Interstate 5, south of Highway 905.
Several vehicles reportedly collided on the roadway in unclear circumstances.
According to the California Highway Patrol log, one of the drivers was trapped in the wreckage and was extricated by the first responders.

The trapped driver was seriously injured.
A San Diego police officer who was also involved in the accident sustained minor injuries.
Traffic on the roadway was stopped until about 5:45 p.m. due to the accident.
An investigation into the mishap is underway.
