40-Year-Old Elk Grove Man Killed in Sacramento Crash on Interstate 80 near Madison Avenue

Sacramento, California (November 25, 2020) – A 40-year-old motorcyclist from Elk Grove was killed in a traffic accident on Tuesday afternoon in Sacramento, authorities said.
The deadly motorcycle accident happened at about 3:00 p.m., on November 24, on Interstate 80 near Madison Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle, operated by the 40-year-old Elk Grove man, was driving between the third and fourth lanes on westbound Interstate 80 when it rear-ended a Hyundai Elantra.

The motorcyclist was taken to Mercy San Juan, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The Hyundai’s driver, a 54-year-old Sacramento man, was not injured in the accident.
Further details regarding the accident were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
