Rider Hospitalized after Mira Mesa Motorcycle Crash at Camino Ruiz and Marauder Way
Mira Mesa, California (November 22, 2020) – A motorcyclist was critically injured Friday night in a traffic accident at an intersection in Mira Mesa, according to a local news source.
The major-injury collision happened at about 10:30 p.m. Friday, November 20, on Camino Ruiz and Marauder Way.
As per the report, a 22-year-old man was riding his motorcycle northbound on Camino Ruiz when he crashed into the side of a Toyota Rav4.
Authorities determined that one of the drivers ran a red light, causing the accident.
The motorcyclist suffered major injuries and was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. The name and current condition of the rider were not disclosed.
The Toyota driver was uninjured.
The accident remains under investigation.
