Adrianna Alarcon Killed in Rear-End Collision on SR 163 in San Diego
Adrianna Alarcon ID’d as Woman Killed in San Diego Accident on State Route 163 near Genesee Avenue
San Diego, California (November 17, 2020) – The San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the woman who died in a two-vehicle collision Friday night in San Diego as Adrianna Alarcon, 46, of San Diego.
The deadly accident happened at around 7:28 p.m. Friday, November 13, on State Route 163, just south of Genesee Avenue.
Authorities said a van was heading northbound on State Route 163 when the driver tried to overtake a slower moving vehicle.
For an undetermined reason, the van crashed into the back of a flatbed truck.

Alarcon, who was riding as a passenger in the van, was trapped in the wreckage and had to be extricated by responding firefighters.
Alarcon was then transported to Sharp Memorial Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries at 8:20 p.m.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
