Riverside Collision at Sycamore Canyon Boulevard and Central Avenue Sends 1 to Hospital
Riverside, California (November 16, 2020) – One person was hospitalized with serious injuries after being involved in a two-vehicle collision Saturday afternoon in Riverside, the California Highway Patrol reported.
Officials responded to the major injury crash site at approximately 2:45 p.m. at Sycamore Canyon Boulevard and Central Avenue.
It was not immediately established how the two vehicles collided at the Riverside intersection near the 215 Freeway.
Due to the impact, one of the involved automobiles, a silver pickup truck, came to a stop on its side after it overturned.
One of the drivers was trapped inside the wreckage and had to be extricated.
Major Injury Riverside Collision Saturday Afternoon
One unidentified victim was hospitalized with major injuries sustained in the wreck.
Officials closed down the intersection as they investigated and cleared the scene.
