Ramona, California (November 11, 2020) – Maria De Jesus Rodriguez, 19, of Ramona, was among two people who died earlier this month following a motorcycle accident in Ramona.

The deadly crash happened at about 2:10 p.m. Sunday, November 1, in the 26400 block of Littlepage Lane.

Authorities said Job Humberto Blanco, 28, of Ramona, was riding a KTM 350 motorcycle westbound on Littlepage Lane when, for unknown reasons, he collided with a 2020 Can-Am Maverick that was traveling eastbound.

The force of the impact caused Blanco and his passenger, Rodriguez, to be ejected from the motorcycle.

Blanco and Rodriguez were pronounced dead at the scene.

The two riders in the Maverick, a 17-year-old man and a 23-year-old man, both from Los Angeles, were not injured in the accident.

It was not clear if alcohol or drugs were a factor in the mishap.

More details about the accident were not immediately available.

The crash remains under investigation.
