Daniel Zamora among 3 Killed in Car Accident on Highway 78 in Oceanside
Oceanside, California (November 11, 2020) – Daniel Raymond Zamora, 56, was among three people who died in a single-vehicle traffic collision Thursday afternoon in Oceanside.
The tragic wreck happened at about 2:05 p.m. Thursday, November 5, on Highway 78 at Valley Glen Drive and Vista Way.
Police said a Mitsubishi Outlander, driven by Joseph Raymond Zamora, 43, was heading westbound on Highway 78 when, for undetermined reasons, it drifted off the right shoulder and hit a metal light pole.
Daniel Zamora, who was a passenger in the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Joseph Zamora and an unidentified passenger, a 58-year-old woman, were also died at the accident scene.
No further details about the crash were immediately available.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
