Coroner ID’d Rhett Mandel as Victim Killed in Irvine Motorcycle Collision on Jamboree Road at 405 Freeway
Irvine, California (November 9, 2020) – The Orange County Sheriff-Coroner has identified the man who died following a motorcycle accident in Irvine Saturday morning as 39-year-old Rhett Mandel.
The deadly crash, involving a big rig pulling a trailer, occurred on Jamboree Road at Interstate 405 Just before 8:00 a.m.
Mandel was hit by the truck while riding his motorcycle near the Irvine intersection in unclear circumstances.
Officials affirmed the involved motorist remained at the scene after striking Mandel.

Sadly, Mandel died at Orange County Global Hospital, where he was admitted after the mishap.
