Justin Snyder Seriously Injured in Twentynine Palms Crash on Highway 62
Justin Snyder among 4 Injured in Car Accident on Highway 62 and Sherman Hoyt Avenue in Twentynine Palms

Twentynine Palms, California (November 7, 2020) – Justin Snyder, 21, of Twentynine Palms, was among four people who were hospitalized Wednesday night following a single-vehicle rollover accident in Twentynine Palms.
The crash was reported about 10:07 p.m. Wednesday, November 4 in the area of Highway 62 and Sherman Hoyt Avenue.
Authorities said Damion Sloan, 23, of Twentynine Palms, was driving a silver Toyota Tundra pick-up truck westbound on Highway 62 when, for undetermined reasons, he lost control of the vehicle.
The Tundra reportedly crashed into the side berm on the south side of the highway and rolled over several times.
Sloan was ejected from the truck and pinned underneath it. His two passengers, Snyder and Robin Wright, 21, also of Twentynine Palms, were also thrown from the truck.
Sloan, Wright and Snyder sustained major injuries and were taken to Desert Regional Medical Center. A third passenger, Xavier Truckey, 19, also of Twentynine Palms, suffered minor injuries and was transported to Hi-Desert Medical Center as a precaution.
The accident remains under investigation.
