Clifton Vandiver ID’d as Man Killed in Rancho Cucamonga Motorcycle Accident at Base Line Road and Spruce Avenue

Rancho Cucamonga, California (November 6, 2020) – Clifton Ray Vandiver, 55, of Rancho Cucamonga, has been identified as the man who was killed in a motorcycle accident on Thursday evening in Rancho Cucamonga, authorities said.
The deadly accident happened at about 5:04 p.m., on November 4, at Base Line Road and Spruce Avenue.
According to the police, a Kawasaki motorcycle, driven by Vandiver, was headed eastbound on Base Line Road when the accident occurred.
A pickup truck was reportedly driving westbound on Base Line Road when it turned left onto Spruce Avenue crossing into Vandiver’s path.
Unfortunately, Vandiver crashed into the pickup truck, officials said.

Sadly, Vandiver was pronounced dead at the scene.
Further details regarding the accident were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
