Injuries Reported in Oakland Crash on Interstate 880 Freeway near Hegenberger Road
Oakland, California (November 5, 2020) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of a two-vehicle crash that happened Thursday morning in Oakland.
The accident, which was reported at about 8:14 a.m., happened on Interstate 880 Freeway near Hegenberger Road.
According to the CHP, a white Ford pickup truck was traveling northbound Interstate 880 Freeway when, for unknown reasons, it crashed into the back of a turquoise Toyota Prius.
The Prius sustained major rear-end damage following the crash.

Emergency personnel responded to the scene and provided medical to the parties involved in the accident. No serious injuries were reported, the authorities said.
Both vehicles were towed from the scene of the accident.
The investigation is ongoing.
