Several Injured in Sonora Accident on Highway 49 at O’Hara Drive
Sonora, California (October 31, 2020) – Several people were injured Friday afternoon in a multi-vehicle crash in Sonora, according to a local news source.
The accident occurred just before 3:20 p.m. Friday, October 30, on Highway 49 at the O’Hara Drive and involved four vehicles.
As per the report, one vehicle was stopped and was attempting to make a left turn onto O’Hara Drive when another vehicle drifted to the left to avoid hitting it.
A third vehicle behind it also swerved to the right to avoid hitting the stopped vehicle, but the fourth vehicle crashed into the others.
Several patients were taken to Adventist Health Sonora with unspecified injuries. Their names have not been disclosed pending notification of family.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
