Los Angeles, California (October 25, 2020) – Three people were injured in a fiery two-vehicle accident on Sunday morning in Los Angeles, authorities said.

The crash happened on October 25, on Willow Glen Road.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle was traveling northbound on Willow Glen Road at a high rate of speed when it lost control and crashed into another car that was driving southbound.

As a result of the crash impact, the northbound vehicle driver ended up stuck underneath a parked car carrier. The car also caught fire, which spread to nearby vegetation, but it was quickly put out.

3 Injured in 2-Car Accident on Willow Glen Road in Los Angeles

Three parties were injured in the accident. Two of the patients were transported to Grossmont Hospital while the other one was taken to Mercy Hospital.

More details about the accident were not immediately available.

The crash remains under investigation.
