Los Angeles, California (October 25, 2020) – The man who died after being struck by a Metro B Line train Wednesday evening in Los Angeles has been identified as Fletcher Yamamoto, 53, of Anaheim.

Authorities said the deadly pedestrian accident happened at around 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 21 between Seventh Street/Metro Center and Westlake/MacArthur Park Stations.

First responders arrived at the scene and found Yamamoto under the train. He was declared dead at the scene.

No further details about the crash were immediately provided.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
