Man Killed in Motorcycle Accident on Highway 80 near Manuel Campos Parkway in Fairfield
Fairfield, California (October 22, 2020) – A 65-year-old Dixon man was killed in a motorcycle accident in Fairfield on Wednesday night.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Interstate Highway 80 near Manuel Campos Parkway at about 6:37 p.m. October 21.
The man and a group of other motorcyclists were riding their bikes westbound when his 2007 Harley Davidson motorcycle left the roadway and crashed into a ditch.
The unidentified man suffered major injuries and was transported to Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Vacaville where he died while undergoing treatment.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
