Angel Garcia Suffers Major Injuries in 2-Vehicle Collision on Road 188 in Visalia
Angel Garcia ID’d as Man Seriously Injured in Visalia Crash on Road 188 near Avenue 256
Visalia, California (October 22, 2020) – The man who was seriously injured after a car crashed into the back of farm equipment last week Tuesday in Visalia has been identified as Angel Garcia, 31, of Visalia.
The major-injury collision happened at about 5:15 p.m. Tuesday, October 13, on Road 188, just north of Avenue 256 and south of Exeter.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Garcia was driving a Chevrolet Tahoe southbound on Road 188 when he rear-ended a Vector Wine Harvester operated by Jose Villafan, 47, of Madera.
Major-Injury Crash on Road 188 in Visalia
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and found Garcia suffering from major injuries as a result of the crash. He was airlifted to Kaweah Delta Medical Center for treatment.
Authorities said Villafan refused hospitalization.
The accident remains under investigation by the CHP.
