Rolf Klenk Killed in San Jose Bicycle Accident at Blossom Hill and Coyote Roads
San Jose, California (October 14, 2020) – The bicyclist who was hit and killed by a vehicle earlier last month in San Jose has been identified as 76-year-old Rolf Klenk of San Jose.
The fatal bicycle accident occurred at about 3:10 p.m., September 4, at Blossom Hill and Coyote Roads.
Klenk was hit by a white 2013 Mazda CX-7 while riding his bicycle in the afternoon hours.
The Mazda CX-7 was attempting to enter the roadway from westbound Blossom Hill Road at the time of the collision.
The involved motorist remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.

Klenk died at the hospital at 8:30 a.m. October 13, while undergoing treatment.
The fatal accident remains under investigation.
