San Jose Traffic Crash near Story Road and McLaughlin Avenue Left Female Party Dead
San Jose, California (October 14, 2020) – A traffic collision that happened in San Jose, Sunday afternoon, resulted in the death of one person.
The fatal crash took place near Story Road and McLaughlin at approximately 12:30 p.m. October 11.
The accident happened when a 69-year-old party operating a 2004 Toyota 4-Runner was trying to park the car and accidentally accelerated before crashing into outdoor dining at the Grand Century Mall.
The Toyota 4-Runner reportedly hit five men and three women.
San Jose Fatal Accident at Grand Century Mall
All involved parties, including the driver, were rushed to an area hospital for medication.
Two of the victims were treated for life-threatening injuries, while the motorist sustained minor injuries.
Meanwhile, the police said the Toyota operator might have had a medical emergency prior to the mishap.
Sadly, one of the female victims died on Monday.
The deadly accident remains under investigation.
