Humboldt County, California (October 14, 2020) – A major injury crash involving a semi-truck was reported near Fields Landing in Humboldt County on Wednesday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 4:10 a.m. on Highway 101.
A semi-truck carrying lumber was traveling southbound on the highway when it rolled over for unknown reasons.
The semi-truck is reported to have caught fire after the collision.
The truck driver had to be extricated before being transported to the hospital for treatment.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
