Twain Harte, California (October 10, 2020) – Mark Edward Thompson, 40, of Livermore, has been identified as the motorcyclist who was seriously injured Friday night in a traffic accident in Twain Harte
The major injury motorcycle accident happened at about 8:30 p.m., on October 2, on Twain Harte Drive at Meadow Lane.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a Ford pickup, driven by Kelly Ryan Quashnick, 39, of Tuolumne, was heading eastbound on Twain Harte Drive and was attempting to make a left turn when it collided with a westbound Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by Thompson.
Thompson was thrown off the bike upon the impact and the motorcycle went crashing into a parked pickup, the officials said.

Thompson sustained major injuries and was airlifted to a hospital for treatment. Quashnick was uninjured in the crash.
More details about the accident were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
