Lancaster Car Accident at Avenue J and Challenger Way Left Female Party Dead
Lancaster, California (October 7, 2020) – A traffic collision involving two vehicles in Lancaster, Monday night, left a female party dead.
As per the Lancaster Sheriff’s Station report, the fatal accident was reported at about 10:47 p.m., October 5, on Avenue J and Challenger Way.
The accident involved a Honda Civic heading Southbound on Challenger Way and a Ford Fusion traveling northbound on Challenger Way.
The initial report indicated that the Ford Fusion possibly failed to stop for a red light when it crashed with the Honda Civic that was making a left turn on Avenue J.
Fatal Lancaster Car Accident Monday Night
A female party riding in the Ford, as a passenger, died at Antelope Valley Hospital while undergoing treatment.
The male party operating the Ford was also hospitalized at Antelope Valley Hospital with unspecified injuries.
Alcohol/drugs were believed to have played a role in the mishap.
The deadly accident remains under investigation.
