Mission Valley, California (October 4, 2020) – A motorcyclist died in a collision in Mission Valley, San Diego, on Saturday afternoon.
The California Highway Patrol said the deadly motorcycle accident happened on northbound State Route 163 near the Interstate 8 transition at about 12:59 p.m. October 3.
A motorcyclist was reportedly traveling on the roadway when he swerved for unknown reasons and crashed into a pole.
The motorcyclist was killed in the collision. The identity of the rider was not immediately disclosed.
The CHP blocked the connector from northbound SR-163 to eastbound I-8 to facilitate an investigation into the accident.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation is ongoing.
