1 Killed in Car Crash on 10 Freeway near Monterey Avenue in Palm Desert
Palm Desert, California (October 2, 2020) – One person was killed in a car crash in Palm Desert, Riverside County, on Thursday night.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 8:20 p.m. October 1, on Interstate 10 Freeway near Monterey Avenue.
Firefighters responded to the incident and extricated one person who was trapped in a vehicle after the collision.
Sadly, that person died at the scene of the accident.
It was unclear if any other vehicle was involved in the accident.
The identity of the deceased was not immediately disclosed.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
