Dorian Alvarado ID’d as 3-Month-Old Child Killed in Earlimart Car Crash on Avenue 48 and Road 160
Earlimart, California (September 23, 2020) – Dorian Alvarado has been identified as the 3-month-old child who was killed in a two-vehicle accident on Monday last week in Earlimart, authorities said.
The deadly accident happened at about 3:20 p.m., on September 14, at the intersection of Avenue 48 and Road 160.
As per the California Highway Patrol, a 2014 Nissan Sentra, driven by Paola Montez, 26, of McFarland, was traveling northbound on Road 160 when it failed to stop for a stop sign and crashed into a 2003 Toyota Tacoma, driven by Roberto Barron Vejar, 48, of Delano.
The Tacoma was reportedly driving westbound on Avenue 48 when the accident occurred.

Dorian, Montez, and 4-year-old Jorge Alvarado, all from McFarland, were pronounced dead at the scene. Dorian and Jorge were passengers in Montez’s Nissan.
According to the police, the children were not properly restrained.
Vejar and his passenger, Adelmira Sanchez, 35, of Delano, sustained minor injuries and were taken to a hospital for treatment.
Drugs or alcohol were not suspected of having played a role in the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
