Joshua Cobb ID’d as Man Killed in San Diego Pedestrian Accident on Interstate 8 near Highway 15
San Diego, California (September 11, 2020) – The transient man who was struck and killed by two vehicles Monday night in San Diego has been identified as Joshua Lee Cobb, 39, according to the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The deadly pedestrian crash happened at around 10:12 p.m. Monday, September 7, on westbound Interstate 8, just west of Highway 15.
Authorities said Cobb was on the highway when he was struck by a vehicle that was heading westbound on Interstate 8.
Cobb was then hit by a second vehicle.

Cobb was pronounced dead at the scene.
No further details about the crash were immediately given.
The CHP is investigating the accident.
