26-Year-Old Rider Killed in Mira Mesa Motorcycle Crash on Hillery Drive

Mira Mesa, California (September 3, 2020) – Authorities are investigating a Wednesday afternoon motorcycle crash that killed a 26-year-old person and left one other injured in Mira Mesa.
The deadly accident occurred at around 2:00 p.m., on September 2, on Hillery Drive.
According to the police, a 2000 Honda Accord, driven by a 63-year-old woman, was traveling eastbound on Hillery Drive when it turned into the driveway of a Home Depot across the pathway of a westbound 2016 Harley Davidson motorcycle, driven by the 26-year-old rider.
The motorcycle crashed into the passenger side of the Honda, the officials said.

The motorcyclist was transported to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
The Honda’s driver complained of anxiety and pain to her knuckle. She was also taken to a hospital for evaluation.
Drugs or alcohol were not suspected of having played a role in the mishap.
The crash remains under investigation.
