Yuri Kim Killed in Single-Vehicle Crash on Highway 1 in San Mateo County
Yuri Kim ID’d as Woman Killed in San Mateo County Car Accident on Highway 1 near Gray Whale Cove Monday morning
San Mateo County, California (September 2, 2020) – The San Mateo County Coroner’s Office has identified the woman who was killed Monday morning in a single-vehicle crash in San Mateo County as Yuri Kim, 54, of San Francisco.
The deadly car accident, which was reported at about 7:50 a.m. Monday, August 31, happened on Highway 1 near Gray Whale Cove.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a silver Toyota sedan, driven by Kim, crashed over a barrier and tumbled about 200 feet down the cliffside.

First responders arrived at the scene and transported Kim to San Francisco General Hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries.
No further details about the crash were immediately provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
