Raul Martin ID’d as 1 of 2 Men Killed in Desert Hot Springs Car Accident on North Indian Canyon Drive near 18th Avenue
Desert Hot Springs, California (August 30, 2020) – One of the two men who were killed early Sunday morning in a head-on collision in Desert Hot Springs has been identified as Raul Martin, 24, of Desert Hot Springs, according to the Riverside County Sheriff-Coroner’s Bureau.
The deadly two-vehicle accident happened at about 1:08 a.m. on North Indian Canyon Drive, just north of 18th Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a Dodge Challenger and another vehicle collided head-on on North Indian Canyon Drive for unknown reasons.

Two occupants of the Challenger, Martin and a 22-year-old Desert Hot Springs man, were pronounced dead at the scene.
Two other people were taken to a nearby hospital, one with critical injuries and one with minor injuries. Their current conditions were not diclosed.
Further details about the accident were not immediately provided.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
