Dorien Hernandez Killed in DUI Car Accident on Highway 198 near Akers Street
Visalia, California (August 23, 2020) – One person was killed in a DUI rollover collision that occurred in Visalia on Saturday night.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 1:17 p.m. August 22, on Highway 198 near Akers Street.
A 31-year-old woman from Madera was driving a 2006 Ford Expedition westbound on Highway 198 when she lost control for unknown reasons and veered off the roadway.
The vehicle struck the guardrail and overturned, ejecting the female driver.

The woman, who has since been identified as Dorien Hernandez, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
The authorities believe alcohol was a factor in the accident.
