Major Injuries Reported in San Luis Obispo Car Crash on Highway 101 at Old Stage Coach Road
San Luis Obispo, California (August 21, 2020) – Major injuries were reported Friday evening following a traffic accident on Highway 101 just north of San Luis Obispo, according to a local news source.
At about 7:25 p.m., emergency personnel responded to the southbound lanes of Highway 101 at Old Stage Coach Road for a report of a two-vehicle crash.
Authorities determined that a black sedan and another vehicle collided in the southbound lanes of the highway for unknown reasons.
Due to the impact, the sedan rolled over on the right-hand side of the freeway. The second vehicle sustained major front end damage following the crash.

The CHP said the accident resulted in major injuries. The number of victims injured and their names were not immediately disclosed.
The crash caused the closure of the slow lane of the freeway. Motorists were being asked to take it slow in the area.
The accident remains under investigation.
