Fred Robino Killed in Car Accident at Geneva Avenue and Prague Street in San Francisco, Paris Powell Arrested

San Francisco, California (August 19, 2020) – A man died after a police chase ended in a two-vehicle crash at an intersection in San Francisco on Saturday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal collision was reported at about 7:30 p.m. August 115, in the area of Geneva Avenue and Prague Street.
The police were pursuing a suspect linked to an East Bay armed robbery. The chase continued onto the freeway before returning to the streets in the Ingleside District.
The suspect, who was driving a black Audi A3, ran a red light at the intersection and crashed into a Maroon Toyota minivan that was traveling northbound on Prague Street.
The minivan driver, who has since been identified as 63-year-old Fred Robino, of Pittsburg, was killed in the accident.
Man Charged with Murder after Police Chase Ends in Fatal Crash in San Francisco
Two women in the minivan and four teens in the Audi were hospitalized in unknown condition.
The driver of the Audi, 20-year-old Paris Powell, of San Francisco, was arrested and charged with murder among other crimes.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
