Samuel Zavala Identified as Man Killed in Walnut Creek Car Crash on Interstate 680 near Koopman Road
Walnut Creek, California (August 12, 2020) – Samuel Zavala, 20, of Walnut Creek, has been identified as the man who was killed in a traffic collision last Thursday morning in Walnut Creek, authorities said.
The deadly accident happened at about 4:30 a.m., on August 6, on southbound Interstate 680, north of Koopman Road.
According to the police, Zavala was driving his Toyota on the freeway when, for unknown reasons, the Toyota rolled over.
Zavala was reportedly ejected from his vehicle as a result of the accident.

Zavala was transported to Eden Medical Center in Castro Valley, where he succumbed to his injuries.
More details about the accident were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
