3 Injured in Ridgecrest Car Accident at Bowman Road and Norma Street
Ridgecrest, California (August 12, 2020) – Three people were hurt following a two-vehicle collision Tuesday afternoon at an intersection in Ridgecrest.
The two vehicles collided at about 12:38 p.m. at the intersection of Bowman Road and Norma Street.
The accident involved a Ford Explorer and a Toyota Avalon that collided at the Ridgecrest intersection for undetermined reasons.
Due to the impact, the Toyota Avalon went off the highway and acquired major damage while the Ford Explorer had damage to its front.
Toyota Avalon and Ford Explorer Involved in Ridgecrest Collision
One unidentified person, riding in the Avalon, sustained non-life-threatening injuries in the wreck.
A mother and a kid, riding in the Explorer, reportedly suffered unspecified injuries.
The accident resulted in the closure of the intersection temporarily as police and emergency crews worked to investigate and clear the scene.
