At Least 1 Injured in Modesto Multi-Car Accident at Santa Fe Avenue and Highway 132

Modesto, California (August 9, 2020) – At least one person was seriously injured when multiple vehicles collided Sunday morning at an intersection in Modesto, the California Highway Patrol reported.
Authorities said three vehicles, including a gray Nissan Altima and a tow truck, collided at about 8:26 a.m. at the intersection of Santa Fe Avenue and Highway 132.
A female party was trapped in one of the vehicles.
Firefighters responded to the scene to help the victims. As per the report, at least one person sustained severe injuries in the accident.
CHP said one of the drivers involved, a female party with red hair and wearing shorts, fled the scene to Yosemite Liquor.
The cause and manner of the crash will be established when authorities conclude their investigation.
