2 Injured in Los Angeles Crash on 5 Freeway near 110 Freeway
Los Angeles, California (August 4, 2020) – Two people were injured Tuesday afternoon in a traffic accident on 5 Freeway near the Elysian Park area of Los Angeles, according to a local news source.
The crash happened at around 1:00 p.m. in the southbound lanes of the freeway near the connector for the 110 Freeway.
Two big rigs were reportedly involved in the collision. There were no details about what led up to the accident, but the authorities said one of the cab of one of the trucks came off after the crash.

Firefighters along with the paramedic responded to the scene and extricated one person who was trapped in the wreckage.
A total of two patients were taken to a local hospital where they were listed in stable condition. Theri names were not immediately released.
Motorists were asked to avoid the area and seek alternate routes.
The crash remains under investigation.
