1 Dies after Escondido Motorcycle Crash on Birch Avenue and Bear Valley Parkway
Escondido, California (August 1, 2020) – One person was killed in a motorcycle accident on Saturday afternoon in Escondido, San Diego, police said.
At about 4:00 p.m., the California Highway Patrol responded to the deadly accident on Birch Avenue and Bear Valley Parkway.
The CHP said an Acura MDX SUV collided with a motorcycle on the roadway. The factors that contributed to the accident are yet to be established.
Fatal Traffic Collision on Birch Avenue and Bear Valley Parkway in Escondido
One person was pronounced dead at the scene. It was not clear if the victim was on the motorcycle or in the SUV.
Traffic on northbound Bear Valley at Idaho Avenue was stopped for an unknown period.
More details about the collision were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
