Rider Dies after Redding Motorcycle Crash on Highway 44 near Park Marina Drive

Redding, California (August 1, 2020) – A motorcyclist was killed in a traffic collision on Friday night in Redding, authorities said.
At about 9:30 p.m., on July 31, the California Highway Patrol responded to the deadly motorcycle accident on Highway 44 near Park Marina Drive.
The CHP said an SUV collided with a motorcycle on the roadway in unclear circumstances.

Sadly, the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
The SUV driver was not injured in the crash.
Following the collision, the roadway was closed for an unknown period.
