Morgan Hill, CA: 1 Hospitalized after Multi-Car Accident on Highway 101
1 Seriously Injured in Morgan Hill Car Accident on Highway 101 near Cochrane Road
Morgan Hill, California (July 30, 2020) – One person was hospitalized after a Morgan Hill car accident that occurred Thursday afternoon on Highway 101, the California Highway Patrol reported.
Three vehicles, including a tan Honda Accord and a white Prius, were involved in the crash that happened at about 2:16 p.m. in the southbound lanes of the highway just north of Cochrane Road.

As per the report, one of the cars rear-ended the Honda in the crash.
CHP officers and firefighters responded to the scene to find the Honda in the center divider. The Prius and the third car were blocking the Nos. 1 and 2 lanes.
One person who suffered major injuries was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Firefighters blocked all southbound lanes to allow an investigation.
Authorities are investigating the factors that may have led to the collision.
