Los Angeles, California (July 30, 2020) – A pedestrian was hit and critically injured by a vehicle on Wednesday night in Panorama City, Los Angeles, authorities said.

At around 9:38 p.m., on July 29, the authorities responded to the major injury crash on the 7600 block of North Woodman Avenue, just north of Saticoy Street.

As per the officials’ report, the pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on the roadway. The manner at which the crash occurred is yet to be established.

Pedestrian Critically Injured in Crash on Woodman Avenue in Los Angeles

The pedestrian, possibly a transient, was critically injured and was transported to a hospital for treatment.

Traffic on southbound Woodman Avenue, just north of Saticoy Street, was stopped due to the accident and amount of debris spread on the roadway.

The involved driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
