At Least 1 Injured in Joshua Tree Car Crash on Highway 62 near White Feather Road
Joshua Tree, California (July 30, 2020) – At least one person sustained major injuries when two vehicles collided Wednesday morning on Highway 62 in Joshua Tree, as per a California Highway Patrol log.
A charcoal Ford Thunderbird collided with an older tan truck at around 10:44 a.m. just east of White Feather Road, trapping two people in one of the vehicles.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and rescued at least one person who sustained major injuries.
The Nos. 1 and 2 lanes of Eastbound Highway 62 were closed as the crews worked the scene. Traffic was diverted through the left turn lane.
All lanes were reopened at 12:56 p.m.
CHP is investigating the cause of the crash.
