63-year-old Isleton Man Killed in Sacramento County Motorcycle Crash on Highway 12 near Brannan Island Road
Sacramento County, California (July 25, 2020) – A 63-year-old Isleton man was killed in a motorcycle crash on Friday afternoon in Sacramento County, authorities said.
The crash happened at about 1:42 p.m., on July 24, on Highway 12 near Brannan Island Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the Isleton man was traveling westbound on the highway when, for unknown reasons, he drifted into the eastbound lane.
The motorcyclist reportedly struck the front of a tractor-trailer.
Fatal Motorcycle Accident on Highway 12 in Sacramento County
Sadly, the rider was pronounced dead at the scene.
The condition of the tractor-trailer driver was not immediately known.
Drugs or alcohol were not believed to have played a role in the collision.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
