Travis Balthazar Killed, Danielle Cook, Christopher Robesky Arrested after North Fork Pedestrian Crash on Highway 224

North Fork, California (July 25, 2020) – Travis Balthazar, 31, of O’Neals, has been identified as the victim who was killed in a hit-and-run crash on Thursday morning in North Fork, authorities said.
The fatal crash happened at about 3:10 a.m., on July 23, on Highway 224.
The California Highway Patrol responded to the hit-and-run accident and found Balthazar lying on the roadway. The factors that contributed to the accident are yet to be established.
A white 1989 Acura sedan was reportedly found in Kerckhoff reservoir, partially submerged that same morning.

Balthazar was pronounced dead at the scene.
Danielle Cook, 35, and Christopher Robesky, 49, both from North Fork, were arrested in connection to the accident.
Cook and Robesky were booked into the Madera County Department of Corrections on Friday for possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, possession of ammunition by a prohibited person, and murder. Their bail was set at $1,000,000 each.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
