Driver Injured in Pleasanton Car Crash on 680 Freeway
Pleasanton, California (July 15, 2020) – A car driver was injured in a collision involving a semi-truck in Pleasanton on Tuesday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Interstate 680 Freeway at about 2:45 a.m. July 14.
A 54-year-old man was driving a Honda Civic southbound along the #1 lane when it crashed into a semi-truck that had drifted into the lane.

The impact of the collision caused the Honda to overturn.
The driver of the Honda sustained minor injuries and was transported to Eden Medical Center for treatment.
The semi-truck spilled gravel across all lanes of the freeway as it fled the scene.
The collision resulted in a temporary closure of the roadway for about four hours.
